Early Explorers and the Fur Trade – Lecture with Mark Weadick

At the turn of the nineteenth century the Northwest Company began exploring the Rocky Mountains and further West to exploit fur resources. Explorers and trappers like David Thompson and Jaco Finley explored the area and opened trading posts like the Spokane House.
Join Friends of the Spokane House reenactor Mark Weadick to learn more about the 19th century fur traders and explorers in the Coeur d’Alene region.
