Garden District Tours

Join tour guide Stephen Shepperd for a walk through Coeur d’Alene’s National Historic District and discover the stories behind some of its historic homes. Learn about the people who lived there, the homes’ unique architectural styles, and the history of the neighborhood.
Tours last approximately 1.5–2 hours, so comfortable walking shoes are recommended. Do NOT park in the First Presbyterian parking lot, but please park on the street or public lots in the area.
September 26 – West Garden District
Explore historic homes between 5th and 7th Streets, from Lakeside to Reid Avenues.
October 10 – East Garden District
Discover notable homes between 7th and 10th Streets, from Lakeside to Montana Avenues.
