The museum’s collections include a WWII Farragut fire truck, art and historic artifacts, and over 40,000 historical photos. Each group will be given a scavenger hunt activity that helps students engage with exhibits throughout the building.

Thank you to our Field Trip Sponsor!

Once your field trip is scheduled, you will receive a confirmation letter along with an invoice. Your visit is officially confirmed once payment is received.
Before your arrival, we’ll provide a detailed schedule outlining how your group’s visit will run. This will help you plan your time and know exactly how long to expect your group to be at the museum.
If you have a large group that needs to be split, we offer several options. While one group explores the museum, we recommend taking the other group to nearby McEuen Park, the Coeur d’Alene Public Library, or Tubbs Hill—all just a short walk away. You may also choose to book an add-on program for one group while the others tour the museum.
For questions or to arrange additional activities, please contact our Programs Manager. We're here to help make your visit smooth, educational, and fun!

Cancellation
We understand that plans can change, and we aim to be as flexible as possible while still ensuring a smooth experience for all groups. Field trips can be cancelled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice. Providing this notice allows us to offer your spot to other visiting groups and helps our staff adjust schedules accordingly.
If you need to reschedule your visit, simply contact our Programs Manager. We will work with you to select a new date and time that fits your group’s needs. Please note that rescheduling also requires at least 24 hours’ notice to ensure we can accommodate your request.
Payment
To secure your reservation, payment or a payment plan must be completed at least seven days before your scheduled field trip. If payment is not received within this timeframe, your field trip will be automatically cancelled. This policy ensures fairness to all groups and allows us to maintain accurate staffing and programming schedules.
